We’re a group of parents, grandparents, employers, students, school board members, community leaders, educators and residents of the school districts in Washtenaw County who support the November 3, 2009 regional enhancement millage because now is the time to invest in our kids’ future.

We’re urging a “YES” vote on the November 3, 2009 regional enhancement proposal for 2 mills for five years because our children and grandchildren need the best education possible to get 21st century jobs.  They require a strong elementary and high school education to compete, no matter if they go on to a four-year university, community college or technical school. And, if our public schools stay strong, jobs will be here for our kids—because companies locate in areas with excellent school systems.

So, now is the time to invest in our kids’ future.  Our kids can’t wait for the state to help our schools during these challenging economic times.  It’s up to us.  This way we can invest in their education and all the money—100% of it—stays here in our schools to benefit our kids.  So, please vote “YES” for our Kids on November 3, 2009.

Now is the time to invest in our kids’ future.
All registered voters who live within the school districts of Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Lincoln, Manchester, Milan, Saline, Whitmore Lake, Willow Run and Ypsilanti can vote on this proposal.
